iPLAY Orleans Closure

Regretabbly, iPLAY Orleans will now be closing its doors permanently instead of the original plan to re-open with new technology.

iPLAY Kanata (follow the link on the right hand of this page) is generously offering special pricing to all iPLAY Orleans customers who come out to the Kanata location for gaming fun. iPLAY Kanata also offers Birthday Parties, Team Parties, Tournaments, NASCAR leagues and Summer Camps so please consider them for your next event.

Lastly, I wish to thank you all for your patronage over the past 2 1/2 years; it has been a pleasure getting to know all of you. I look forward to seeing you in the community.

iPLAY Orleans Closed Until Further Notice.

As many iPLAY Orleans regulars know, this fall (November specifically) promises to be an amazing time for new game releases. To ensure that our technology will be able to run the new games at peak perfomance the plan is to upgrade our current systems throughout the month of September which is traditionally the slowest month of the year for iPLAY. As a LAN Center relies on its computers to operate, we will be closed during this technology refresh period. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we will keep you in the loop on our progress.

Junior Call of Duty 4 Team Tourney Saturday, August 22nd 7 - 10pm!!!

Congrats to Steven for winning the last Junior Tournament - a COD2 blast fest. Not long ago we had 32 people out for an amazing COD 4 event so as a result of that success, iPLAY Orleans is hosting another COD4 Team Tourney this Saturday, August 22nd between 7 and 10pm. This is a Junior Tournament so you must be 14 years of age or under to participate.

Tournament This Weekend!!!

iPLAY Orleans Demigod Tournament Saturday, August 15th 7pm - Midnight!!!

Congrats go to EOTG for winning the last tournament, a CounterStrike:Source event. I have been asked to do another RTS tournament and several have specifically asked for Demigod so we will give it a shot.

Demigod is a real-time, tactical strategy game that includes extensive role-playing elements. Choose from several Demigods, each poised for battle with their own unique capabilities and awe-inspiring powers. Vanquish other would-be gods as you gain levels, increase in power, unlock the power of mystic artifacts and slowly battle your way closer to joining the Pantheon.

iPLAY Orleans CounterStrike: Source Tournament Saturday, August 1st 7pm - Midnight!!!

Congratulations to “Savage Ricky” for winning the last event which was a Left 4 Dead Tournament. We had 6 teams come out and the outcome was a lot closer than anyone had predicted. A couple of “Junior” players almost stole the show!

So put together your team and register now! There will be a limit of 32 players accepted to ensure everyone gets a station for the evening. Prizes will be trophies, iPLAY Gaming Passes and the all-important Bragging Rights. Cost is $25 + GST for Non-Members and $20 + GST for Members.

Junior Star Wars BFII Space Maps Team Tourney Saturday, July 25^th 7 - 10pm!!!

This Saturday night, iPLAY will be hosting a Junior (14 years of age or younger) Star Wars Battlefront II Space Maps Tournament. We have been playing a lot of “Space Mode” SWBFII in here lately and it has been a blast. The object is to work as a team to destroy your enemy’s ship from the outside and from the inside! You can fly tie-fighters and X-wings to your hearts content! Congrats to Steven for winning the last tournament - a COD 2 free-for-all.

iPLAY Orleans Tournament Saturday, July 4^th 7pm - Midnight!!!

Team Fortress 2 is one of the most popular team FPS games ever from the folks at Valve but we have not yet had a TF2 Tournament. This Saturday, July 4th, come and celebrate the American birthday in style at iPLAY Orleans with TF2!!! We will run the event as a 2v2 or 4v4 depending on the registration numbers. Congrats to Ricky for winning the Rise of Nations Tourney last week.

Extended Summer Hours & Next Junior Tournament!!!

It is officially summer at iPLAY Orleans!!!! The first day of iPLAY Summer Camp was today and the place was filled with happiness and joy all day long. iPLAY’s hours are now extended as follows for the remainder of the summer:

Monday                               8:30am - 5:30 pm

Tuesday - Thursday      8:30 am - 10:00 pm

Friday                                  8:30 am - 12 Midnight

Saturday                            10:00 am - 12 Midnight

Sunday                                 12 Noon - 6:00 pm

We still have space for most weeks of our popular programs. For veteran campers that have been to many weeks of iPLAY Camp, we even have something new for you to learn - design your very own video game!!! Call 613-845-0872 to register now!

We are also open during the day for drop-in gaming as space permits (call first please). We have super specials like the 8 hour day pass for only $25+GST for Members and $35+GST for Non-Members. 3 hours are available for the price of 2 and 5 hour blocks are yours for $20+GST for Members and $25+GST for Non-Members.
