iPLAY Kids March Break 3-Day Game Design Computer Camp!
The iPLAY March Break Game Design Camp for Kids is a perfect way to spend your March Break . This intensive 3-Day camp program is designed to be exciting and comes with a ton of activities for your child as they explore the world of game creation. Our camp is based on Microsoft’s award-winning game design software called KODU. Kodu is a new visual programming language made specifically for creating games. It is designed to be accessible for children and enjoyable for anyone. The core of the Kodu project is the programming user interface. The language is simple and entirely icon-based. Programs are composed of pages, which are broken down into rules, which are further divided into conditions and actions. Conditions are evaluated simultaneously. The Kodu language is designed specifically for game development and provides specialized primitives derived from gaming scenarios. Programs are expressed in physical terms, using concepts like vision, hearing, and time to control character behavior. While not as general-purpose as classical programming languages, Kodu can express advanced game design concepts in a simple, direct, and intuitive manner. Kodu provides an end-to-end creative environment for designing, building, and playing your own new games. Our 8th annual New Years Eve Insanapalooza is happening Thursday, December 31st (New Years Eve of course!) There will be food, drinks, tournaments, prizes and games, Games, GAMES!!! happening throughout the night.
Call up the gang and game deep into the night (…and well into the morning) at iPLAY from 6pm New Years Eve to 9am New Years Day – That’s 15 Hours of Gaming! There will be FREE pizza and drinks served at midnight!

iPLAY Kids Holiday
3-Day Game Design Computer Camp!
The iPLAY Holiday Game Design Camp for Kids is a perfect way to end the year of 2009. This intensive 3-Day camp program is designed to be exciting and comes with a ton of activities for your child as they explore the world of game creation. Your child will learn:
· Level design: Kids will create the levels that they use for their own games.
· Sprite design: Kids will learn how to create their very own sprite graphics, not just how to draw the sprite but how to animate it in games!
· Basic coding: Kids will be getting a basic understanding of coding principals, and will put code into their own games creating a one of a kind experience!
· Game design using Game Maker 7: Kids will create their own Top Down Game where they will unleash their creativity by creating their own world, characters, storyline and scenarios.
